Project River City Reads

Hi everyone! This blog has been set up specifically to promote an organization called River City Reads for a service project through my Mass Communications 101 class. They help people in the Richmond area set up book clubs and provide them with the materials to hold meetings and suggests places to have the meetings. They also promote books readings and other events at different book stores like Chop Suey, which is in Carytown.

For the next week, I will be blogging about the upcoming book reading at Chop Suey for the book Unstuck by Noah Scalin. This book has been chosen as River City Reads' latest book club title. It is 52 ideas about how to get your creative juices flowing with projects for any lifestyle plus artists profiles. I will be posting about certain projects every day this week up until the book reading on Saturday, December 3rd from 5-7. If you're free, head on out! Other VCU students in the service project group will be live tweeting from the event so you can also follow them if you can't make it (twitter name will be coming soon). Hope you can make it! (Unstuck is available at most book stores and on Amazon)
